Tecate Group is a stocking distributor for CAP-XX super capacitors. The on-line store allows for easy purchase for proof of concept and prototyping.
CAP-XX super capacitors are low profile, low impedance (low ESR) power sources, designed to overcome both the power delivery constraints of battery systems and the energy delivery limitations of conventional capacitors. CAP-XX products provide these features:
- High power output for peak current loads (low ESR)
- Sufficient energy storage to handle power surges (high capacitance)
- Wide operating temperature range (-40°C - +85°C)
Smallest devices available for given ESR and capacitance (high power and energy density)

CAP-XX’s Ultra-Thin Supercapacitors. Comprised of the G and H Series of single-cell and dual-cell supercapacitors, the RoHS-compliant parts offer an ideal solution to the power delivery limitations of batteries and other current-limited energy sources, including conventional capacitors. These parts, which boast low impedance, a very low profile, and competitive pricing, are well suited for cost-sensitive portable applications. The supercapacitors offer long-life performance at up to 2.75V in single-cell versions and 5.5V in dual-cell configurations with two supercapacitor cells connected in series. |
