CAP-XX supercapacitors are low profile, low impedance (low ESR) power sources Designed to overcome both the power delivery constraints of battery systems and the energy delivery limitations of conventional capacitors. CAP-XX products provide these features: High power output for peak current loads (low ESR) Sufficient energy storage to handle power surges (high capacitance) Wide operating temperature range (-40°C - +85°C)

Cap-XX Supercapacitors are the smallest devices available for given ESR and capacitance (high power and energy density).

Double Sided Adhesive Tape Option

The double sided adhesive tape is suitable for temperatures up to 85C. It can be used for more secure mounting of the supercapacitor to improve resistance to shock and vibration, and also insulates the bare copper areas under the supercapacitor so PCB traces can be routed under these areas. The tape ads 0.1mm to the thickness of the part. Remove the release tape to expose the adhesive area.

A “G” in place of “F” as the 6th character in the part number indicates a part with the adhesive tape option.
